Got this new AMEX offer. I already have more wine than I know what to do with from previous offers but the value is too good to pass up.

If you don't want to spend much more than $35, I recommend doing one of these $45 deals for 6. Better value than ordering individual bottles:
- https://wineinsiders.com/promos/AFF-MED6PK-4499-0819 [wineinsiders.com]

Best overall value is definitely the full club membership for 15 bottles, but it costs $89:

IDK why you guys are freaking out, the terms were the same for Laithwaites and WSJwines about using the /amex url and I got cashback from them no problem.

edit: I also used cashback and it worked fine.

Does the offer need to be added to the AMEX card before ordering? How to do this correctly?

Also, does the blue cash everyday qualify?

IDK why you're so angry

"If your purchase meets all eligibility requirements of the offer terms, you'll see your rewards reflected directly on your statement. Credits may be reversed if qualifying purchase is returned/cancelled"

I have received all the rewards against my credit card statements for Laithwaites and WSJwines. There's no clawback here per the above, only if I reverse my purchase or cancel.

FYI the wsjwine terms seems a bit more lenient compared to wine insiders':
Quote :
Purchases must be completed using the eligible link provided. Any purchases not made at wineinsiders.com/amex will not qualify for this offer. Excludes purchases made at wineinsiders.com
Wsjwine just says:
Quote :
Offer valid online via US website at wsjwine.com/amex. Not valid on purchases shipped outside of the US
No mention of the strict language from wsj or laithwaites. I did wsj x2 and laith x4 with Cashback on all of them, I'll skip this one due to the strict terms. have enough cheap ass wine to last me a couple years

full wsjwines terms:
Quote :
Enrollment limited. Must first add offer to Card and then use same Card to redeem. Only U.S.-issued American Express® Cards are eligible. Limit 1 enrolled Card per Card Member across all American Express offer channels. Your enrollment of an eligible American Express Card for this offer extends only to that Card. Offer valid online via US website at wsjwine.com/amex. Not valid on purchases shipped outside of the US. See merchant website for delivery availability in your market. Must be 21 years or older to consume alcohol. If you choose to purchase a WSJwine subscription, please note, that unless you notify WSJwine that you want to pause, cancel, or that you do not want to auto renew, your subscription will automatically renew for another subscription period (subject to applicable law) of equal length (for example monthly, or annually). This means that WSJwine will collect the then-applicable subscription fee and any taxes by charging a credit card WSJwine has on record for you. You will receive a reminder before your card is automatically charged. WSJwine is operated independently of The Wall Street Journal. Please drink responsibly. Offer is non-transferable. Valid only on purchases made in US dollars. Limit of 1 statement credit per Card Member. You may not receive the statement credit if we receive inaccurate information or are otherwise unable to identify your purchase as qualifying for the offer. For example, you may not receive the statement credit if (a) the merchant uses a third-party to sell their products or services; or (b) the merchant uses a third-party to process or submit your transaction to us (e.g., using mobile or wireless card readers); or (c) you choose to make a purchase using a third-party payment account or make a purchase using a mobile or digital wallet. Purchases may fall outside of the offer period in some cases due to a delay in merchants submitting transactions to us or if the purchase date differs from the date you made the transaction (for example, the purchase date for online orders may be the shipping date). Statement credit will appear on your billing statement within 90 days after 11/26/2022, provided that American Express receives information from the merchant about your qualifying purchase. Note that American Express may not receive information about your qualifying purchase from merchant until all items/services from your qualifying purchase have been shipped/provided by merchant. Statement credit may be reversed if qualifying purchase is returned/cancelled. If American Express does not receive information that identifies your purchase as qualifying for the offer, you will not receive the statement credit. Limit 1 enrolled Card per American Express Card online account. The enrolled Card account must be active, not past due, canceled, or have a returned payment outstanding to receive the statement credit. Any benefit earned from this offer is in addition to the rewards (i.e. Membership Rewards or cash back) earned as part of your existing Card benefits, but your ability to earn spend-based rewards for the purchase will be based on the amount after any statement credit or other discount is applied. Amex Offers are available for varying and limited periods of time and are dynamic and personalized. If you navigate away from the Amex Offers page, you may see different offers when you return. For questions regarding your Card Account, please call the number on the back of your Card. By adding an offer to a Card, you agree that American Express may send you communications about the offer. It's still a pretty solid deal if you choose 3 of the cheaper 50% off bottles priced in the $11-13 range. After shipping it's only about $5/bottle with the amex offer.

Those bottles didn't qualify for this offer as per my last year experience

I did another using the proper link this time. Was $70 all in for a half case then minus the $35. We'll see if both get the credit, they both triggered the email which has always meant the credit is coming. This email came instantly, on the first order using one of the OP links it took 12 minutes to arrive.

ETA: the merchant name in the email subject line using the "proper" link is the same as the OP link - "HEMISPHEREP-WINEINSIDR"

Just did the Laithwaites one. Wife would kill me if I get more paint thinner wine.
Liked the Roma red though. Yet to try the rest. Deal was good value. Not an expert so I can't comment much on the quality.

When I browse with "/amex" link, how could I find "/promos" section?
