Thanks for this. I'd rather not risk paying $49 for mediocre wine than get a deal on mediocre wine. Their website really sucks, not allowing you to cancel online, and the live chat link doesn't open anything... had to call, but fortunately they were still able to cancel my order.
Thank you, I just tried it.
1. activated the offer on my amex account
2. clicked the wineinsiders.com/amex on OP's (not sure if this is necessary)
3. cicked on OP's first link and purchased the REDS
Total came to
$48.93 (taxed more since CA)
-35.00
18.93/6 = roughly $3 per bottle. Not going to complain.
I received an email right away saying I used my offer. Thank you!
Do you see the credit in Amex ? I received an email, but the $35 credit hasn't posted. For other offers, I see the credit posted on the next day.
Can confirm. I clicked the Amex link, then OP's link and got -$35 twice. On my first order I even forgot to add the promotion to my card but apparently since it was still a pending charge and I added the promo before it became a completed charge, it still worked.
As I recall from the last time, I was warned I wouldn't get the credit, ignored the advice, and didn't get the credit. So, I would be very careful buying any of the promos from this site until someone confirms they got the credit.
Yep, been there, done that. You will get the email but unless you use the specific Amex link, you don't get the credit.
edit - looks like I'm wrong and credits are posting. I wonder if it is worth trying again.

Did the credits post the same time as the charge or sometime afterword?
Ordered both of O's links without clicking /amex link on Friday, charges posted Saturday, credits posted Sunday packages scheduled for delivery Monday.

I did an order on Friday using the link provided by OP but to be safe i also clicked the amex link from the amex offer website. I got the email from amex within a couple hours. Got the $35 credit this morning. I wanted to verify it worked and now i did i'll order another box of wine the same way

Looks like someone hasn't heard of the RAT team, known for clawing back exactly these kinds of deals months later

It says you have to purchase from "www.wineinsiders.com/amex" [wineinsiders.com] to qualify but the $45 promos are not found under that.
