You can generate points with this card more easily but AMEX has better lounge access. Boils down to do you how much do you travel.
annual fee is 550
It has never been 120k. The highest it's been is 100k

I had this card in the past & didn't have to pay the annual fee the 1st year. I just got the card again & the account already shows the $550 balance on there. Is that to be expected?
i'm also curios to know but this is not mentioned anywhere in the offer. One more question about lounge access only for card holder or for family too?

I'll say this much:
Their Apple Store fulfillment is absolute crap.

They have a promotion which gives you a 50% discount on Apple products when purchased using their points... which seems very good. So I ordered a new iPhone, and everything looked good. Problem is, I ordered it October 16 and now they say I'll receive it on December 8.

WTF is with Chase? I contacted Apple and they said I could pick up the exact same item in store, today. One day! But Chase takes two full months to fulfill an order? So.... what happens when I book travel with them and something goes wrong? They might be a great bank, but they are terrible about putting stuff into boxes and sticking labels on the box.

You don't want to know the nightmare it was for me last year.
I had booked a hotel in NY around July.
In October, 1 month before my trip, I get notified from the hotel that they've closed down indefinitely and to find somewhere else.
Fine, only I was out chase points but I still had enough to book a last minute hotel.
Here I was thinking Chase would refund those points once the booked date came. WRONG
According to chase, the hotel was paid so I had to inform them the hotel never accommodated me due to closure.
The hotel had no # to contact since they were closed.
It took about 2 months for chase to return those points to me.
If you don't call, Chase assumes the points were spent.

Yeah that's to be expected. You should probably check the terms that came with your card.

Did you apply for the card thinking you wouldn't get charged an annual fee right off the bat? If the annual fee was waived for the first year, it would've said so on the Chase website and it would've been a big deal. I would assume that the OP would've indicated it when they posted the deal as well.

Even ordering directly from Apple entails a one month wait. Apple does allocate a small number of units to be available at their stores but there is a shortage if you're placing a new order.

Seeing as you're posting in this CSR deal thread, you are aware that you would get $300 back if you were to use this card on airfare purchases (and you wouldn't even have to use Chase's travel portal)? And you'd be 75% of the way towards earning the sign up bonus of 80k points. I'd say that's some compelling reasons for your situation.

Although you should really think of that $300 credit as effectively offsetting some of the card's hefty $550 annual fee. It's not free money.

You are right
This card had some good features but the high fees is kind a bummer, that's why was looking for card with less fees
