my only concern is not the product itself but the battery portion of it.
In most china made QA&QC you get what you paid for based on my experience, but the hardware is not bad for the price you pay!
I have an identical one from Costco, wonder how this is different, I will buy this and install it at the same time as Costco to compare one year from the installation.
wondering if you can install a separate battery or replace it from the D1 with a higher capacity battery???? any thoughts?
I agree with the other poster. the issues with this unit will probably come from battery longevity.
Also, to all the members that hate Chinese products; your safe space is a lie. Most of those Merca made product you think you love are just pieced together from Chinese parts anyways. I get that quality control can be shotty sometimes but you aren't some superhero for putting down foreign company's every time someone will listen.
Lithium Ion: Li-ion can be fast charged from 5°C to 45°C (41 to 113°F). Below 5°C, the charge current should be reduced, and no charging is permitted at freezing temperatures because of the reduced diffusion rates on the anode.
so if you are in the north east like me, I should not use this during winter time but install/uninstall based on climate change, should the light last longer? but we are talking about $14, and if you get the use of the one season then it still is worth it and if you can stretch it, you are a head of the game!!!! that is my thought and I am in for 2!

My wired light can be adjusted from 1 minute to 10 minutes.
