You can buy Xbox gift cards, which are not excluded and triggered the offer. The Xbox gift card can be used to purchase physical items at the Microsoft store with no expiration date (that's what I found out from the thread).

The Dell gift cards are excluded.

just want to set your expectations, not all amex cardholders are getting all these deals. some of them but not all.

I have Platnium (aka the coupon clipper) card and get them on the card. Lives up to it's name...$700 annual fee with coupons to offset the fee.

Got both the Dell and now this Microsoft coupons to clip

I have the Amex Blue Cash Everyday. It came with a $200 sign-up bonus. It looks like that $200 bonus requires a $2000 spend in 6 months now.

The Dell $50 off $100+ should have been available to everyone since it is one of the Member Week offers which expires in 2 days.
I also have the Dell $120 off $599 and this Microsoft $100 off $500.

The new Amex everyday cash card has pretty good benefits (including these offers, but they are ymmv sometimes). It's a no annual fee card too.

no annual fee

Yes but don't try to hold onto more than $1,000 for a big purchase, MS only allows $1,000 max credits to be used in one order.

I get nearly all these coupons on my free cash everyday card. Platinum is not worth it these days.

Have it on 2 cards. My MS account balance from the stacking DELL CB ($50+$40 on a $200 purchase) offers is around $400. Unless I buy something $900+ I won't be able to use it in combination with this offer. I guess buying XBox gift cards and using the account balance for a future purchase is an option, unless the T&Cs specifically say no gift cards.
