if you're talking bout $559 vs $619, then yes, Dell may return the difference.
It will bring my total under $599 though so what about the Amex credit?

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

You need to be very careful with this DELL AMEX deal. It is possible that you will not get the $50 cash back as there are only 2 days left and I am sure Dell will not ship your order out by that, which means DELL will not charge you by Oct 20 and you will not qualify for the cash back!
Feel free to read the offer details or confirm with Amex customer service

There is also a risk of not getting $120 back as DELL is very likely delay your shipping.

I have an order placed on Oct 12, which was expected to be delivered on Oct 17. However, it is now still in production! and I don't know when DELL will ship it!

I feel that DELL delays the shipping intentionally to avoid paying the promotion.

Amex offer terms
"Purchases may fall outside of the offer period in some cases due to a delay in merchants submitting transactions to us or if the purchase date differs from the date you made the transaction (for example, the purchase date for online orders may be the shipping date). "

Don't waste your time ordering from Dell, they have no clue on their inventory and would make it look as if the items are in stock. I got email today from an order i placed on the 10/10 saying the items are delayed and wont ship until 1st week of Nov.
Doing this, Dell will do not need to honor the offer and you will pay full price

I bought this last week for $620 and the Amex deal. Not sure if I can ask for a price difference credit. Will the price credit kill my Amex credit?
Does Dell ship it out already?

just placed an order. Didn't need an extra item as I was already over the $599 limit with the sales tax! Immediately got 2 emails saying I just used the $120 offer and the $50 offer. Sweet! Thanks OP!
You need to make sure Dell ship it out and complete your transaction by Oct 20. Otherwise, you will not receive the cash back. I confirmed with Amex and Dell

Most people including myself got the emails for the credit minutes after the order. It doesn't go by ship date.

I also get the email, but
I confirmed with Amex and they told me that email does not mean anything. Amex use transaction completion date which is usually the shipping date for Dell to justify if you are qualified for the cash back. You can also find this in the offer details. My pending transaction now already disappeared from my credit card account and DELL has not completed the transaction because it delays my order

As long as it ships on or before the 20th, I'm guessing we should be fine? Mine is scheduled to arrive on the 20th.

Two 27 inch monitor or one big monitor like this one is better for productivity ?
From my experience it actually ends up being kind of comparable, with the single monitor slightly inching into the lead. You get slightly less screen real estate, but much more flexibility (plus it looks sweet). With the single large monitor there are various screen layout tools you can use to optimize/customize your window layout. Also no more issues with screen mismatch or mouse pointer jumping between screens in undesirable ways

That said I had a 38" when I was using a single curved monitor, so was a little closer in screen area to two 27s. In general though I think the assessment still holds since you'd be comparing a 38" UW to two 29s.

FYI, my order was placed on Oct 12 and original ship date on Oct 14. Dell then delayed shipping to Oct 18. Today Dell customer service told me they have no parts in warehouse to fulfill my order and they expect shipping in Nov. More important Dell refuses my cancel request.

My advise, do not look at the given date, that's a joke.
Monitor the shipping date, if Dell miss it, cancel your order as soon as you can.
I was able to cancel yesterday but customer service cheated yesterday telling me my order was shipped out and I will receive shipping label today.

I would personally (for coding) go for 32" 4k curved. I have tried two 27", one 32" curved and right now using one 34" curved. I think for me best setup was one 32" 4k curved monitor and 24" in portrait mode.
