Welp, I'm pissed about this deal. I bought this saw from another retailer for $425 a week ago and it's not worth it to ship it back for this deal. I haven't seen a price this low for this saw. It's $400 but use the code Treat for $50 off $200 or more. Hope someone else can take advantage of this deal.
Just to confirm this is not the sliding version correct?
The description states sliding and pictures show a sliding saw. The same model no on HD website states sliding in the title as well. Hope that helps, it's a good deal.

I am a trim carpenter. This saw is amazing, until its not. The bevel angles only have detent at the 45 and 90, all the rest of the angles are controlled by a brake and shoe. After about 2 years of regular work, the shoe won't grab any more. Replacement parts are hard to find. I would buy again at this price, but I upgraded to the Makita XLS06PT for on the job, and a Bosch GCM12SD for the shop. I still use the m18 for framing or to throw around.
Would people recommend 7-1/4 or the 10? Primarily for 2x4, occasional 2x8 but figured I could just flip it over for their rare instances
Hi Hanger, as a busy contractor, I'd suggest the 10. I'm not sure about Milwaukee specifically or battery powered, in general; however, I don't mind a little added weight for greater capabilities. I often find at the 10" platforms for many manufacturers, they have a bunch of nice features not found on some of their smaller models. I'd rather have and not need, than need and not have (if prices aren't drastically different)! The 7.25" will work fine for your listed requirements though.

Great deal.
It's the slider according to the listing.
Never 7 1/4. You will regret it
