Used to be everyday price. It's been $1198 for a good while.

I bought it a few years ago for $600 but it was the lower end version with door instead of drawer on the bottom half. I have consistently seen this for around $700+ back then and last 2 years it has been around $1200 steady. That is why I'm wondering if this is a good deal to pull the trigger on?

Well, apparently prices differ at locations. I bought one for this price 8 months ago, and have seen the price listed on the boxes for the same since my purchase. Nevertheless, it is the best box I have ever owned. Very well built! Due to the weight, I had to use the forklift to unload it.

Just to confirm, everyone who is saying this uses to be sub $1k is speaking to the heavy duty version and not the standard duty?

Or possibly the 52" version?

I have this in heavy duty. It is WELL built for the money. I just upgraded for more space and am selling currently. If I had the room I'd keep it. No complaints and a good price.

Yep. Bought a rolling husky chest for $298 in 2019-2020. It's $600 now.

I have this exact model. Although I used giftcards and had military discount to use, I believe it was on "sale" for $898 last for BF and normally has a $998 sticker. So, this definitely got the "eff it, everyone else is raising prices" 20% mark up to its now normal sticker price.

In the end though, I love it. Sturdy. Good soft close slides. Built power strips on both sides. I fell in love with the drawer that has the wooden work surface as I'm a shorter person and resting the laptop and beer on the work surface feels a lot more comfortable that up on the top deck.

They are thinking of the 52" HD, this was more and I bought 2 of the 52" HD last yr which were $898 and years before we're as low as $600.
This one was $1098 last BF

52" has 15 drawers
This 56" has 23 drawers
