I bought two of these. NIB and work great! They aren't adjustable for their height, but you get a lot of bang for your buck. Even comes with the HDMI cable.
Bought same deal, same eBay'er about a month ago. Nothing Open box about it. Dirt cheap, brand new.
I returned mine due to it clearly being used and having a couple dead pixels. It had close to 100 hrs of usage when I got mine. You can check for this in the monitor settings.
That being said these models have decent IPS panels with good color reproduction and a lot of features and settings to play around with. The design is pretty slick too and the little control knob/nipple design thing LG uses is miles better than than other brands out there.
Keep in mind at 27 in is where 1080p starts to get pixelated. My panel looked pretty pixelated on top of the other issues listed. I probably would have overlooked the pixel density if it wasn't for the other issues listed. If you can overlook the pixel density this is a hell of a deal for the price if you get an actual open box.
edit - Also wanted to point out the seller has great customer service and was on point with handling the return.

Judging by the specs, this is the same panel LG has been using in most of their budget 27" monitors. I bought two for around $180 each from Fry's (not on sale) around 5 years ago so I dont think this MSRP of $199 is honest as this is a very outdated monitor that has been historically very cheap.
This panel is good for getting a lot of screen size for cheap to improve your work productivity. I remember not being impressed with the colors despite that it was labeled "IPS". You probably won't notice much benefit from the IPS or 75hz over standard 60hz TN panels as I did not. The 250 Nits isn't a problem in doors, ignore that guy. Needless to say, if you ever used, 1440p, 1ms, or 120hz+ for gaming, obviously it is hard to go back to specs like this.

I bought one just to have last month and had to work from home yesterday. I was setup and working under 15 minutes. The monitor looked brand new. The real estate is great. I had my computer hooked up to a 50 inch tv but like another poster said it's just too much.
It came really quick and the seller keeps you posted on tracking.
