One unique thing about this GPU is it's low TBP. The rx6700 pulls around 175w https://www.amd.com/en/products/g...on-rx-6700 , which is less than a rx6650XT.
The rx6700xt has a TBP of 230w. The rx6700 will generally outperform the rx6650xt and get close to the rx6700xt, but burning about 55 less watts.
If you have an older PSU at a lower wattage, this is a good card to pick up.

The general raster performance of this card should be faster than a rx6650xt or a rtx 3060, but slower than a rx6700xt or rtx 3060ti .

People need to put a little more trust into AMD. They screwed up their reputation on building reliable cards with good drivers on the 5000 series GPU's, but they've come a LONG way since then and at this point in time I think AMD is pretty much on par with NVIDIA in terms of drivers, at least speaking from personal experience with my 6700xt. That being said, if that's not the only reason that you wanna go NVIDIA, like DLSS, raytracing, or streaming, then yeah NVIDIA all the way. But this isn't Intel ARC we're talking about. AMD has been in the GPU game for a while now so they know a thing or 2 about driver support.

Around 3060ti and 3070. But the 6750x is around the 3070 - 3070ti.

This card is ~12% slower than the XT version.
https://www.tomshardware.com/news...700-custom
Which puts it on par with the 6650 TX in most cases.

Really, I wouldn't pick this over a 3060 Ti at $399.

The RX 6700 XT is really a RTX 3060 To competitor.
https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-s...0-xt.c3695
It's 2% faster than a 3060 Ti.

There are virtually no reviews for this card because it kinda sucks with power draw being it main redeeming quality. I get the feeling it was a mining varient released a little too late.

The 6700 XT has been close to this price recently ($360) and I've seen open box XTs for even less. This is OK since the cheapest XT right now is $390, but its not a great deal.

You bought a used card from a rando. Pretty sure he could of sold you a stripped card filled with bacon and you wouldn't of realized it until you got it home.
The card was shown to me at the time of purchase and I have done enough research to know better.

450 for a card that's 699 is a steal in my books

It's kind of odd that the AMD website has the 6700 at 175 watts and recommends a 600 watt power supply. But yet they have the 6650 XT at 180 watts and recommend a 500 watt power supply. Doesn't make any sense.

It's just mostly irrelevant to a deal thread meant for a larger audience.

Look up Ancient Gameplay's YouTube channel. He did a few videos on the RX 6700 non-XT. And he's not the only one.

I think that's more the 6700 xt. This is the non-xt version, so probably closer to a 3060, right?
RX 6700 non-XT is closer to RTX 3060 Ti than it is to 3060.

You can use the matrix on this webpage for a general idea (https://www.tomshardware.com/revi...,4388.html). The RX 6700 sits between the RX 6650 XT and the RTX 3060 Ti.

This really depends on the design and AIB. My reference AMD 6700xt was 185w (verified in more power tool) so it's probably really close to this 6700. Higher bin 6700xt can be 230w

I'm holding limes for an Nvidia card for the better driver support / compatibility, not just with games (PCVR specifically, don't really care about flat games atm) but with ML/AI applications too. I'm not an AMD hater; I'm just building my first machine in like 15 years and am super wary of buying something and running into limitations too soon.

It's been a long time since I had a SAPPHIRE card. But it worked perfectly.

Sapphire is best AMD card brand imo
I only buy the Nitros
I don't ever hear a fan go on - built to be cool and quiet

That sounds typical for a rx6700xt while gaming. There's guy on youtube who has benchmarked the rx6700 in several games. He was seeing this card pull between 100-130w during his testing, I'm thinking these rx6700 gpus are actually based upon the radeon mobile gpus. I would be really curious to see what the radeon monster profile could do with this card.
