DTO's constant sales and % off way of doing buisiness has caused me to do some note taking on various tools that im interested and their price fluctuations... none of the half dozen or so items are close to the lowest prices ive seen them during this sale... some are quite a bit more than they had been in the recent past.

take that for what you will. im sure there are some decent prices in there but not for the things im after...

I've also noticed what you are saying but the free shipping helps. I've been after a leaf blower for a while now and I believe the cheapest I saw it was $85 plus shipping which I believe was $5 back then. This was also before inflation completely took over, so at just over $10 from that price point it's not bad.

Like everything I guess it depends on what you looking at

The sale price isn't really much of a sale unfortunately . Most of the 20% off items for Ryobi are off full price for blemished/reco items

No, 20% off isn't huge in the grand scheme of things as they often have larger % discounts or better single item sale prices, however the free shipping is huge for people that are only ordering one item as their usual $15 flat rate shipping was often a deal killer even if the item price was lower.

Free shipping is good if your order is small in dollar amount. If you're planning to order a ton of tools, wait for a bigger sale and the $15 flat rate shipping will be peanuts.

wow, im an idiot. i didnt even notice the free shipping part. time to add a new column to my spreadsheet. lol. that said, not a single one of the items ive been tracking is available for ship to home. so its another of DTO's tricks. FREE SHIPPING!shipping not available
