Cash back probably shouldn't be calculated in for deals

Why not? As long as it is described clearly, I think that is how it should be done. How is this any different than someone squeezing the price lower using a price match, coupon, referral code, cashback, or any combination of options out there?

Yes it can but I feel the freedom 5% is just too common or well known. Post do mention it but only as a reminder bonus and not to make it "slick"

I tend to agree, but if it's clearly noted in the deal title then that seems fair. On the other hand, posting a price that's reflective after a gift card is included in a deal is much more frowned upon.

One can argue the Target 5% red card discount is even more common since it's an everyday (not quaterly) discount. But we still see plenty of those deals.

Posted this because users with this card may not think of using PayPal to check out and save an additional 5% after CB. With the coupon, $70 off the MSRP is a pretty slick deal.

Gotcha, I hear what you are saying. Post the deal at the deal price, then add the "slicker" points in the post. Less deceiving if that is what the impression is here. It would be nice if SD did not block 3rd party deal options as well.

Same seller had these for $272 a couple days ago, and that's without any cash back offers

Yes, any ways to get slicker should be included in the posts, that's the whole point, to help people get the best deal and remind them which card to use for cash back. We're not all here just to compete for front page status, I get that it's a good motivation but let's not forget the end goal.

Not sure why chase keeps screwing over freedom unlimited card holders. Hardly ever get any special cash backs

No one is competing for front page. As I said, I was trying to help others with this card get the deal

This place is so toxic, that is why I stopped posting deals.

I guess this post might have been more appreciated if you posted it a couple days ago, before they jacked the price up on this item. It was cheaper then with no cash back than it is now even with 5-10% cash back.

Yeah, I agree. I hadn't seen it then, wish I did as the 5% would have made it more slick. Not that I'm in the market for an OLED Switch.

The Freedom Unlimited does have a 10% CB with Best Buy up to $25 back. It's in the offers section.
