If you're using these around the house because you're a complete klutz and can't keep track of your keys, they might be helpful. For checked bags, I found them to be literally useless.

There are also some RF(?) based keyfinders on Amazon by a Chinese brand called WOHOME or something. Need to be within a certain proximity for the remote to work and ring the finders. They might only last 6 months or so, but they replace them if you contact them. Obviously, you don't have the benefit of seeing last location on a map if you use this instead of an Airtag or Tile though

I don't know what ecosystem means in this context, but everyone I've given Tile products to, when the keys get lost, they get found right away, without fail.

I like that Tiles can make sounds though so you can ring your tile to find it in a couch or purse or whatever and reverse: the tile can ring your phone.

But those few times they do help you find your keys or wallet is an absolute lifesaver.
