Not a fan of samsung laptops, no drivers/bios/firmware available for download on their website. My screen developed a small black circle of dead pixels, we sent it in for warranty repair and they would not fix it, they said it was dropped. No more sansung laptops for me.

Had one of the worst, insanely drawn out warranty experiences with Samsung on their laptops. Deal seems okay, but 5 months for a refund has scared me off from their laptops forever.

You aren't alone. Many of us have had Samsung laptop horrors. Do your research if you NEED a computer to work all the time

I have i5 8gb 512ssd version of this laptop. This is definitely the best portable thin light laptop you can get for this price range in my opinion. It can do all my excel, word doc and emails no prob. One weird con is that the laptop is so thin that you can press underside of the touchpad and click the L/R buttons that way. Maybe you can call it a added feature 😅

As for the seller, I can't comment on it as I bought mine openbox on amazon.

Y'all better jump on this. I got this laptop from Best Buy open box for $900 and it's one of the best performing sleekest laptops I've owned for basic uses.

12th gen would have been a no brainer. 11th vs 12th is a big jump.

I have the 13" version and love it. Light as a feather (under 2 pounds) and works well enough for any needs while traveling. I have a heavier laptop that I use during commuting and to play some games (Dell Inspiron 14 Plus) but if I'm going out of town, I bring my Galaxy Book Pro. The OLED screen is amazing too, great for watching movies on the plane.

I actually thought about selling my Galaxy Book Pro and keeping just the Dell but decided against it just because of how light and portable it is.

300 nits, 1080p and open box@600, pass
Would rather pay for a 500 nits, qhd and 256 or 512gb ssd with a non soldered 8gb so i can replace myself

Pretty good deal for the specs you're getting. The webcam is pretty bad but if you're not big on that then you'll be amazed by the form factor of this thing which is pretty much second to none. A MBA feels heavy compared to this

I have this exact laptop but with 8GB of RAM and it's great for basic tasks for work. Battery life is solid, also really nice screen and build quality.

Yes, their driver situation is terrible. I finally figured out to use the "Samsung update" MS app to download the drivers for a fresh install of Windows 10. After a fresh install, I liked it again. Mine is a Galaxy Book S

I hear you. I use a Thinkpad T14 mostly and it's great and easy to deal with whatever issues arise.. that said I love the tiny form factor of my Galaxy Book S.

It also has outdoor mode where the screen jumps to 600 nits.
