When I first took the seat out of the package, I was concerned about how HARD it felt. It didn't have much "give" when I pressed it with my fingers. And so it seemed on my first ride out on the bike. "Too hard", I thought and wished that I had bought the cheaper seat.
However, it only took a few more rides for me to change my mind. I don't know if the seat requires a break-in period or whether my butt got used to the seat. Either way, I find it extremely comfortable. (I can ride it for hours and have!) . The seat provides good support for my pedaling. I highly recommend it for casual bikers.
My cadence is usually in the low sixties and rarely reaches 90. If you are a serious biker who enjoys pedaling at a 90+ cadence, this seat probably won't suit you.
