In for a dozen. Discover security is kind of weird, have to call separately even enrolled using existing credential. Then credit card credential does not work on banking, but can't reuse the same user id between the two sites.

Has anyone got any sort of confirmation? I can't find this advertised anywhere. Just want to make sure it's not a targeted invite-only offer.

Just had my worst bank account application experience ever. Web site collected all personal info and then said to call to finish application. Rep asked all the same questions and then said I have to send them a notarized ID verification form and they will take 2 weeks to decide.

Huh? I have perfect credit history, 830 Experian score. I have never had this happen with any other bank including "online savings" accounts like CIT, UFB, CapitalOne or even Citi. All were completed online/on phone without any notarized nonsense.

Goodbye, Discover!

I have to call in too, ended up asking me to read back some weird numbers on my discover card, then told me the last 4 digit of the new account number so I can register right away. Kind of odd, but they have been around since slice bread, so ...
