Yes I drew the money the day after the bonus posted, drew all but $50, and today it cleared my Ally account Yes the bonus and all my original funds moved. I choose to keep $50, as a buffer. I drew that out today, plus about $7 interest.

I opened my wifes account this am, and added the funds from Ally into her new Discover account. All went well for her account, it shows she qualified for the bonus $450.

We will close both accounts after her bonus arrives and the money is moved out of Discover. Then it will be who's next ?

I applied and uploaded the documents with notary. Now they are saying they will take 3 weeks to review and by that time I will miss the bonus window…
Any suggestions?

I just opened an account yesterday. Kinda bummed that discover doesn't allow direct transfers from penfed. I'll have to set up with penfed for external transfer to discover and I've been having issues with them.

For anyone wondering if they will get the bonus because of an old account/IRA account etc. I just tried to open a new account using this promo and after entering the promo code and promo code verification, on the next page I got the following error:

"Our records show that you are ineligible for this promotion because you have opened a similar account in the past."

I might be wrong but the fact that this check exists tells me something. So, I assume if you get past this step you should be getting the bonus.

I opened the account and then saw this deal. Called Customer Service 5 days after account opening and they were able to add the promo code to the account. I am told it would take a couple of weeks for the bonus to be deposited. But, CS confirmed that the promo code is applied.
