I've been looking for a good impact wrench for awhile. I've got the craftsman line myself and lvoe these tools. Great reviews on these impacts on youtube also.

This is a great deal, it comes with the 4 amp hour battery.

I was in store today, getting ready to buy the 229 dollar impact wrench, which would have been slightly better than this. But all i need is to be able to pull some lug nuts off. I just happened to look on lowes online to see any deals and saw this deal of the day.

Great buy here. I bought and had it shipped. Hope this helps someone else as it helped me today!

I think the Brushless version is more than 'Slightly" better. Craftsman rates the Brushless CMCF940M1 at 700 ft/lbs of tightening torque and 1000 ft/lbs of Breakaway torque. They rate this brushed wrench at 350.

They make a $229 impact wrench? I think you can get the brushless 1/2 inch bare tool for this same price.

If $130 is your max price point for an impact wrench, battery and charger then you should be satisfied if you know it's limitations and your intended uses. It is a good/fair price. I purchased the bare tool cmcf900b last year @ $21.42 (time capsule price) and have been satisfied with it. Check my review on Lowe's with search term "butter". Now since you were willing and intended to spend $229 you may be doing yourself a disservice by not going for a stronger impact wrench.

I would hold out for the Brushless version. I just saw the Torque Test video on the brushless Craftsman, and I'm considering recommending them to a friend that is looking for some cordless impact wrenchs.

Hey thanks all for the input. Good stuff. Didn't realize thos wasn't brushless when I bought it. I'll be happy I think. In REALLy did not want to spend $200+ so for me the specs on this and the price make me more comfortable. I really only wanted it to help rotate tires and have in the truck for emergencies

Looks like they just released that high torque without much fanfare. Weird, considering it has some jaw dropping torque numbers.
