Im not seeing this card or any 3090 for that matter any less than $950 online and up, Microcenter and others. Seems like a good deal. What am I missing besides the regular (dont buy right now) wait discussion?
Because more then likely you dont actually need a 3090. Most people dont need a GPU with 24 GB of Vram, a 3080 will get you most of the performance of a 3090 and you can easily get a good quality non mined one for 500-600$ if need be or wait for RDNA 3 and see what NVidia drops the prices on the cards.
Its really not worth spending money on WOOT either, would not trust them at all. More then likely it could be a bulk returned card they are selling as "new" or something like that. Would not be the first time.
Been shopping for a 3090 or ti, feel like I missed something, what record is that from gamestop?
Gamestop had a pny 3090ti for like 769. I think it was a pricing error. It was sold out when I seen it. They did have alot of cards that were low tho.. so maybe they just wanted to get rid of them.
This is a decent deal but honestly I'd wait to see what amd brings in 10 days. If they drop a card that's 2x the performance of there 6900xt for 1k then it would be way more better for gaming then a 3090 unless you need the 24gb of vram.

FYI, this card was on sale (if amazon prime) around 10/12 at the same price with a potential 5% (discover) or 10% (amazon prime card) cash back.
I was so happy when I had this preordered from Zotacs website for like $2300 dollars only to get cancelled lol. God saved me from wasting my money and keep rocking my 1080 ti. Now I feel this is finally a decent deal! I probably can only get $100 for my current card. Just gonna keep it and display it on the wall lol
Very tempting…. I languished over an open box EVGA 3090 last week for $900 at Microcenter, but this is brand new. Any idea on Zotacs warranty quality?
So I have had 3 Zotac cards over the years and I have never had one fail. I have a pc with a 670 in it still rocking away as a file server.

The 1080ti is still a solid card that a decent amount of people would want.
If you're feeling altruistic, consider donating it, or selling it super cheap to someone in need.
The 7900xt will probably have 20 gb vram and be close to $1000-$1200. For gaming it will probably be much faster than 3090. Nvidia is still inflated because they refuse to reduce their price on ampere stock until amd forces them. Don't fall for their schemes to make it seem like ampere is "worth it" unless you need 3090 for work. 3090 is not much faster than 3080 ti for gaming anyway.

Serious question - how can anyone have any idea if a used card was part of a mining operation? Unless you know the seller I would assume that every miner will lie about usage. I've yet to see a listing stating that the card they're selling was used in a mining farm running 24/7 OC'd.
I'm still waiting but it sure seems like deals started up about a month and a half ago and then, nada. So makes me wonder if any other good deals will happen this year.

Just fyi, this GPU was same price + 10% cashback if you used Amazon Visa credit card during recent prime sale 2 weeks ago. I would assume that 10% cashback deal could come back during BF unless it sells out before.
