Comes with 8GB of RAM and you can add another 8GB DDR4 DIMM to upgrade to 16GB.
Has HDMI and Ethernet, but no DisplayPort, even through USB-C.

Doing some research, the Lenovo laptops seem to have an issue with the display hinges breaking. And it's not clear if this 2021 model has improved hinges. The Asus Tuf model has met "MIL-STD-810H standards" for drop testing which makes me a little more confident in the build quality.
At this price range there are compromises made on every laptop. But, for now I think I'll stick with the Asus Tuf.
Try again. Over on the Best buy Samsung $599 laptop deal, I thought I lost the open box too. But then I went back again and was able to add and check out.
Not going to find a 3050ti cheaper.
Much better than the hp victus @ $475
