I owned this laptop and liked it overall except the propriety charger was flimsy and USB-C charging is a dealbreaker for a travel-friendly laptop for me!

I was about to pull the trigger but I need USB-C charging via my docking station

Ah nice, thanks. I looked around in different stores but unfortunately didn't see anything. Sucks, with tax and all, an open box of this would have gotten me to that $500 price point I'm looking for (again for a touchschreen, i7, 16gb, 256gb).
but I do appreciate the help in how to check other stores. I actually found another interesting Open Box as well. It's the Dell - Inspiron 7000 2-in-1 17" QHD+ Touch-Screen Laptop - Intel Core i7 - NVIDIA GeForce MX350 - 16GB Memory - 512GB SSD+32GB [bestbuy.com]. it's open box fair for $414.
Primary need for the computer is for my 9 year old to start doing school work and video editing for science projects. So 17" is probably overkill in that department. Plus we'd lose portability.
But a secondary need (alright, "want") was for me to do some light gaming with all those free games I've built up w/ the epic store giveaways, prime gaming, etc. My primary's a macbook pro so PC gaming's annoying on there w/ bootcamp and once I replace it w/ a new MPB next year w/ the M2 chips, the intel/bootcamp's gone.
so at this price point I think it's worth it to check out. So I jumped on this just before I lost it.
Update: went to check out that Dell 17" but it was just too big. Plus no charger or anything, just the laptop.
There's another Dell Inspiron 14" also w/ a big deal this week which I found open box excellent: Dell - Inspiron 2-in-1 14" FHD+ Touch Laptop – AMD Ryzen 5 – 8GB Memory – 512GB SSD - Pebble Green . Price is great at high $400s. I really like that the RAM is upgradable and I coincidentally have a 32gb RAM upgrade set. But it is kinda bulkier than what I would like so may not pick it up and hold off for something slimmer. I still really would like a surface laptop 4.

Hm, I tried this, and every time it ends up saying "unavailable nearby" and shows a zip that isn't mine, but fairly close. Happens on private browsers for Chrome, FF, and Safari, even when I don't share my location. How can I get this to work?
On PC, copy the URL for the item and then paste it into a brand new private browser window. On firefox for example, it will ask if I want to share location. If I don't click accept or deny, and then scroll down to the open box section, it shows "Find Stores" for all the different quality levels and then can play around with zip codes.
