The IdeaPadâ„¢ 1i raises the bar on every affordable laptop with a super-efficient Intel Celeron N4020 processor in a thin and compact 17.9 mm chassis with up-to-10 hours of battery life and rapid charge. Get more value with four-sided narrow bezels for maximum screen, Dolby Audioâ„¢ speakers and Flip to Start for instant bootup
Yes,.
But similar laptop (N4020/4GB/ 64GB eMMC) from ASUS, available for $99 from time to time, is a better alternative.
It has a empty NVMe SSD slot for storage upgrade, though no SD card reader.
Need a new laptop just for internet browsing. Would this be fine or is the Asus at bestbuy for 179 the way to go?
The Target's one is a chromebook. Lenovo 14" Chromebook with lower resolution and slow CPU.
This Lenovo is more flexible because it runs Windows. User has the option to install and run chrome OS.
I bought two cheap laptops in Nov 2021 and I rarely use them. Otherwise, I definitely would buy this Lenovo for its low price. The lowest price I ever paid for a laptop is $160.
Around $100 for a laptop is unreal.

Bought it for my aging mom in her 70s. She just watches youtube and Netflix. The screen is low resolution, with faded color and poor black levels. I also had a disc read error on my first bootup because it couldn't read the boot drive lol. Anyways after messing with it for a while, and like 20 minutes setup process because it was dreadfully slow to boot and set up. Despite all the negativity, it's a $100 dollar laptop. Also, my mom couldn't tell the difference between a good laptop and a bad laptop. She happily enjoys all the content without issues for $100.

I'd say it's a $100 well spent.
