definitely not. the box will barely fit through my bedroom doorway.

I purchased the 3D model, but scheduled delivery for next week. Now I'm debating on cancelling my Best Buy order, and order the 4D model from BJ's https://www.bjs.com/product/lifes...0003940781
Any thoughts?
I like this more because of 4D. But no returns at all. BB allows returns. Will get the BB 3D chair first

New to these chairs. I'm 6ft and over the 200lbs suggested weight limit. Any reason other than price one wouldn't invest in a massage chair from Costco?

got the 3d chair yesterday and thought i'd share some experience. delivery guy said it was the 4th one that day but only one with the installation. apparently folks are not selecting the free $99 installation option on the item page. they set it up, connected the foot rest and went through a brief testing to make sure it works. also took away all the packaging. we have it in the corner of the great room next to the tv. its a large room so it doesn't stand out like i though it might. it does look like a pretty high tech looking quality chair. it might be bit out of place in a more traditional decor.

everyone in the family had good things to say about it. in fact, wife fell asleep in the massage chair last night. very relaxing massage overall. there are rollers on the bottom of foot rest as well as on the calf section. the calf section also rocks back and forth for "kneading" action while airbags are inflated. its also neat that it will grab onto the feet using air bags then the foot rest gently pulls the legs for a nice stretch.

it will also hold on to the shoulders using airbags then 3d rollers will push up on the back and create an arch for a nice stretch. rollers go from the head / neck area all the way down to the butt so its a pretty long track. there are 21 preset massages but haven't tried them all yet. there does seem to be variety to the programming from the few i've tried. during programmed operation, settings such as back intensity, airbag intensity and foot roller intensity can be adjusted. there is a manual mode where all settings such as massage speed and others can be adjusted which i haven't tried yet.

heating in the lower back does work and there are 3 levels that can be selected. bt audio does pretty good job and better than what i expected. besides, these speakers won't be used for jamming anyway. still have to work through all the options so it will take some time to get a full picture.

now for some issues...one thing i would have liked is lighted keys on the remote. while the screen is backlit, buttons are not so its bit difficult to navigate in a darker room. i guess it might be a non issue once i get familiar with the button layout. also placement of the control knob on the arm rests sometimes causes it to turn on when you accidently bump the button while getting up from the chair. for some reason the back intensity setting didn't seem to have much difference between lowest and highest setting. may need to try more to tell for sure. when going through the initial body scan, for some reason it asks to manually adjust the shoulder height. not sure if that is supposed to be done automatically but detracts from the full auto experience.

EDIT:

shoulder height issue noted above is normal per the osaki/titan manual. insignia manual isn't very clear. osaki/titan manual has better explanation.

2) Shoulder position adjustment
·After detecting the shoulder position, the buzzer will beep. If there is any difference
from the actual shoulder position, adjust it to the appropriate position by pressing
the "UP" or "DOWN" key. The shoulder position has 11 adjustable levels. If there is
no shoulder position adjustment within 10 seconds, the massage function will start
automatically. Press "OK" directly to start massage immediately. If no shoulder
position can be detected, massage will be started according to the shoulder height
by default.

From my understanding, the only difference between 3D and 4D chairs is that 4D has changes in speed. Does the speed need to be adjusted manually only, or does the speed also change in the preset modes automatically?

couldn't really tell but i don't think speed adjusts while in a programmed mode. there is varied speeds between different massage modes that it rotates through. for example, knocking will be faster paced while kneading is slower. but i don't think speed adjusts within each type of massage if you know what i mean. however, speeds for individual massage type can be adjusted in manual mode which i haven't tried.

4d yes it does incorporate speed changes within the program itself so it will slow down and speed up within a specific massage type as to mimic a human massage. either way i don't think its a huge deal and consensus seems to be that its more of a gimmick than an actual feature.

I bought the compact open box for 175 and I love it for what it is. Just enough massaging and small enough to move around and take up a huge amount of space. My gf has long legs and doesn't like how she sits in it and misses the leg massager but doesn't even use it often. First time I got a butt massage and its actually pretty good.

Does anyone know how big is the box for the $200 one? If you have one, could you please post measurements?

28w × 48l × 35h is the box dimension.

My chair arrived about a week ago and it's well worth $200 , better than I expected for the price. Doesn't look like it's too cheaply made and if I get a couple years out of it I'll be happy. The massage experience itself with the kneading and the knocking is the same as others here have described.
When I ordered it showed shipping cost was $20 so I chose the $99 "FREE" delivery and setup option. Afterwards I remembered previous experience with BB when buying electronics and choosing a "free" software option made things complicated when I returned the purchase,They wanted to deduct normal price of the "free" software from my refund.
So just a warning that in the unlikely event you choose to return the $200 chair they could try to deduct the $99 free shipping and setup from your return if you chose that option
