G2 is oled qd and significantly brighter highlights and it's a gallery
The G2 is NOT QD-OLED, it's just WOLED like the A and C series. Only Sony and Samsung currently offer QD-OLED televisions.

Got an offer on the verde toe site for 83" g2 of 4349 no tax. Is that good? Never used that site before should I jump on the first offer or counter?

Not new advice, but wait until after the Super Bowl into mid-March right before the new models drop for the best price. The OLEDs are great TV's by the way - I bought my 77" C8 in March 2019 from BuyDig and everything went smoothly.
lmao youve been asleep this year or something?

prices on THIS YEAR'S models are plummeting like no other year. there will be price increases and shortages for years after this thanks to inflation.

electronics is all imports..with $ being strong its no surprise that we are seeing lower prices now that supply chain is easing

I got it for $4300 shipped with no tax from verde toe last month. I felt it was a decent price and didn't want to wait around for black Friday.

I just got an open box 77 g1 for 1700 from best buy (no remote or the proprietary mount). The fact the panel has 5 year protection is a big sell for the g series
What car did you use to bring it home? I have a lexus rx 350 suv and was trying to figure out if the 77 g1 will fit in my car

I missed out on getting the 77G1. Now, I'm gonna need to wait for effective price of $2600 or less for the 77G2. I'm optimistic that it will happen quicker this cycle than the last

Can anyone with a G2 comment on the build quality? I just bought a 77 C2 several weeks back and ended up returning it today due to a quite noticeable curve in the panel. Likely due to the razer thin design (minus the processor) and large size, maybe they all do that to some extent? It was just too noticeable for me. The G2 however looks like it's thicker at 1" but even throughout so no bulky processor.

I was considering this tv , but had an optometrist appointment. Guess what, I needed glasses and not a new tv. 4 year old Sony Oled now looks like new. Apparently HDR is working too 😂

Pretty good. It is a solid frame and at the same time very light. I have it mounted on the wall. Weight is about the same as my CX, but the weight distribution is much better.
