Crap deal.

Please check before posting any and every "discounted" deal you come across. Brand new can be bought for $1449 via Lenovo. The processor is 6800H on that, but the 6900HX is certainly not worth paying $1749 for in this deal.

Also, the price you've mentioned in your title is for fair condition. No one would buy that.

Looks like someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed. The excellent condition open box is cheaper than your lower end pricing from Lenovo. Isn't that the definition of a deal? Less than retail?

The OP should mention the price of the excellent condition then, not of the fair neither of the new.

The excellent condition can be considered a deal only if it actually arrives in that condition.

Excellent condition is under $1300. Saving $150 is a crap deal?

Plenty of people buy fair if the cost savings is high enough. Worst case you return it

I just added it but I've purchased open-box excellent in poor condition before and open-box satisfactory that looked brand new. It's very much a gamble

So it arrived. First impressions: the screen looks perfect, no black-light bleed. No issues there. It looks new, at first. Its lighter than I thought. Setup went fine. I looked around the chassis and its been opened. There's a scratch and a small bit of frame damage where someone opened it up, enough that this shouldn't have been classified as "excellent condition" but its not super noticeable. You'd only see it with the laptop upside down and if you look for it. It's not a deal breaker for me, I may still keep it but I'm going to test the hell out of it. If there are any other issues I'll probably return it

Not sure why the hate.. $1250ish seems a great deal given that BB only has one Slim 7 model, the highest end one.
