Dozens of reviews with swelling issue. others saying it has bad power loss even within a couple weeks.
I also have other Anker products that seem fine but no experience with this item.

This is a really old product; rated at only 5V 2A (10 watts). It may not be able to keep up with a modern smartphone or tablet. For not much more money, Amazon sells other battery packs that have double the capacity and more than double the speed.

The 4 yo anker powerbank still keeping charge, micro usb. Not updated to usb c. But with one multipoint charger, we only take 3 cable for charging microusb/usbc/iphone for laptop, tablet, power bank, etc.
But you are correct, if I am in market, I will pay the extra 10 dollar to get usb c just to avoid one cable in long run.
