Was able to see it and go to checkout with it for $94.99 including 5% edu discount. The problem others are having is they're not switching the color to Silver or Pink Gold. It defaults to Graphite which isn't discounted. Once you switch the color it will work with no problem. Great deal.

I haven't kept up with the s8 changes. I have a s7 plus 512gb with keyboard cover. Two questions :
The s8 would be a downgrade from s7+ , I should atleast aim at s8+ right?
Is there a major difference between s7+ and s8+ ?

You're are correct.

In your situation a regular S8 would be a downgrade.

Personally though, I don't want a tablet over 11 inches.

Wonder why they chose to not have a top end model with 5g data option. I still have the tab s7+ 5g... I usually skip a generation anyway but odd.

I know I'm late but you're going from OLED on the S7 to LCD on the S8 and the processor throttles more than the one in the S7. Hard pass for me.

Base S7 is still LCD. Only S7+ is OLED

I use mine to read comics, so I'm sticking with the S7FE. If a similar deal arrives for S8+, I'm in.

Wont' ship to my zip code.. forcing me to pick up at local Best Buy... how does the trade-in work at that point? Samsung will still send me a label, or do I do that in person at Best Buy?

Also they (o0r Best buy) is sticking a YouTube TV deal in my cart that I cannot remove... I think BB does this to penalize you on returns, claiming that you return the real product but there was value to the "freebie" (that I didn't want anyway) and so they deduct that from the return value.

They are showing a $350 trade in for my S6 lite. It sounds like a good deal but I'm not sure. I mostly watch tv and play simple games on my tablet. I would like an upgrade. A S8 would still be 249.00 with 128gb.

Any thoughts?

Samsung will send you a label but you will need to use your own box to send it back.

I made my purchase then cancel YouTube Premium.
