Doesn't look like the full 25% off for trade is applying anymore like in the past deal.

Yea but last time the deal was up the 25% would save you 174.75 now it's only saving you 104.75 so it's really more like 15%

That was probably a bug...glad I got in on it. :-). I'm guessing it was always supposed to be 25% off the sale price, and not off the original price that we benefited from a couple months ago.

Please read reddit. I got it for 190 with tradein and all but still returned it. Horrible speeds and very restricted app. No web interface.
Like YouTube you will constantly get reminded to upgrade to premium whenever you access the app.
Got avg speed of 150 down in a 600 down line.

Why don't you put another router in front of it and use the eero purely for Wi-Fi.

I don't think it was a bug. It was a lightning deal therefore it was based on original price and lightning knocks off $280 so the 25% was based on original. I think because this deal it is already marked down to 419 instead of the lightning, it sees it as 25% off the 419

Usually Guest Mode on routers makes you invisible on LAN for security. For example you wouldn't want a guest being able to access your NAS or other network devices. Unfortunately this also includes things like Chromecasts.
