I own numerous different Eufy cameras and flood cams. The flood cameras, especially this one, will provide you with endless false alarms. Every shadow, Leaf and even car headlights will set it off. Doesn't matter how I tweak the settings. These are a waste of money unless that suits your needs.

The camera is weatherproof. You'll need to have a weatherproof junction box to install it to though, that has 120VAC wire run to it.

If you have an existing properly installed outdoor rated floodlight fixture and box already on your house, this eufy floodlight cam should be a direct replacement. If you don't have an existing fixture in place, a weather proof junction box and 120VAC wire will need to be installed by a qualified electrician.

I was having issues with false alarms with my eufy products, until I set the zones and manually drew squares around only the areas I cared to monitor. After that we stopped seeing false alarms. That said I wish they would somehow speed up the notifications. I have a wifi 6 network setup and even when I'm home the notification is too slow for my liking. Overall though Im pretty happy with Eufy.

This is wireless, and they provide a pre-wired outlet connection so you can setup the device before putting outside. That's the best part of it.

Alas, you should not buy this, as the detection is awful. My wife told me it would come on about every 10 minutes at night for no reason, I didn't believe her until I saw it for myself. And yes, our sensitivity was all the way down. It could have been a lemon, but with so many other people reporting the same thing it's on you if you get burned.

Other Eufy camera models I have are good to great. This was by far the worst.

The previous gen Eufy floodlights I installed came wired to a temporary 3-prong plug on a very short cord, for camera and internet testing before installation/mounting. So I'd imagine you could supply and connect your own longer, 3-prong cord to plug into a wall socket.

I totally agree, I owned this one, too many false alarms, a garbage bag can be detected as human and the light keep on and off whole night long, also the internal 4gb ram only can storage 2.5 days video. If I can I would return it.

This is a decent product. The only complaint is its motion sensor that only senses what in front and not below it. So if you see a ring floodlight sensor it's clear at the bottom and detects any motion but this doesn't. It's good but with a small defect

Im waiting for a better deal on cam 2. Still don't see any big difference between these two, except for the max brightness. Also, anyone has experience on wyze floodlight? It's 1080p though, wonder if worthy to go for 2K eufy one.

I have two of these both set on human mode. One works great while the other I keep getting false alarms and the light comes on randomly at night without anything setting off the motion from what I can tell.

I have the black version of this and had it set for human only and also set up my activity zones when I first set it up and never had a false notification. Recently changed it to all motion because I noticed a cat around the house. Only a hand full of times did I get a false notification because some leaves were blowing.

Doorbell is a totally different product. The AI is different. Agree doesn't have false alarms. Neither do the indoor cameras. Really has nothing to do with flood cameras other than the same brand.
