Price is only good on ORANGE color grill only. All the other colors are at least $75 more. Seems to be a very good price on a good rated portable grill.
Unfortunately there's no way I can buy and bring to tailgates as all of our rivals are this hideous color of Orange, but thought I could help out some Volunteers, Gators, Tigers.

I had this similar grill (different model) for … 12 years and it's still going strong. We don't grill that much.

I was gifted this for Christmas last year. Never used it throughout this year as it's huge to store and take in the car. Sold it two weeks ago for about $100 brand new with the cover.

I bought it on a SD post a few years ago and sold it a couple of years later after not having used it once. Agree that it's too big to be portable. Maybe fine to put in a RV with large lower storage, but that's it.

And these days, I'd almost rather have a portable griddle instead.

Yea same here. I already had one that sits at the bottom of a storage crate which I call my camping kit. Everything needed for camping besides tents and chairs fit in the kit and it's way more accessible

I just had to replace this grill after about 5 years. I had a cover for it but the interior metal around the burners just disintegrated away over time. Also the inside of the lid began peeling and would drop into foods if I tried to cook with the lid down at a certain point. Pretty disappointed because I did really like the grill and even bought a griddle top for one side, but it just completely fell apart. Went with a blackstone griddle this time around.

EDIT: This does look like a refreshed version of the model I bought so maybe it is built a bit tougher.

Had one of these for a while before I sold it for a Weber Q 1200. This thing sucks in even a slight breeze it loses all its heat!!

If you bought with AMEX card (depending on your card), they might have return protection which allows you to return up to 3 months from order date.

Fun fact: ALWAYS start a "return" on any Amazon item you receive. It simply gives you more time to make up your mind. While you get a "deadline" by when to return, you can actually return well beyond that deadline at drop off locations like Kohl's. Simply bring the item, and the barcode to scan, no questions asked, and the refund comes shortly thereafter. Wink

I have one of these and have a very mixed opinion of it. For a compact grill, it does a really good job cooking food and has better temperature control than most grills its size. But man do we hate emptying the water tray. It does not making cleaning easier. Carrying a sloshy tray full of greasy water down our porch stairs is the wooorst.

So would it be possible to grill without putting water in the tray? My intended purpose is tailgating, and I'd probably just want to plan on letting it cool a while before the game to allow the fat to solidify, tossing it into the car and then cleaning the tray at home. Is that reasonable to think I could do it that way?
