True, but the one in the OP is Made In USA. That's a good thing.

This is made in the US, so if you are the type of person that says more things should be made in the states, this is one of those things. I would not buy another if you have one though.

While I don't totally disagree, this has some bolt/nut threads you aren't going to find much or any of at big box stores to use for comparison. Best case you waste your time and gas to use their bolt size checkers and then still have to order the part.

I have HD and Lowes next to each other, between the two and my caliper I usually find all I need. Now, if you working on something that is outside of usual, this may be handy. For me, and probably 95% of folks this falls under "want" vs "need"

This is why I love Ace hardware, in my experience, they have everything I have ever needed when it comes to bolts/fasteners. That said, I want to know what I need ahead of time so something like this is great to have.

Ace is a good place too, cost more for most items but most of the time they will have it. + Ace is privately owned, helping the small business stay afloat
