I purchased On iTunes, and then check my VUDU account... 7 of 8 movies are shown as UHD (only Bride of Frankenstein is HDX)... Great deal..!

Same thing happened to me. I previously own that movie in HD. I might contact iTunes and complain.

iTunes does not have "The Bride of Frankenstein" in 4K, so only the HD ported to the other platforms.

It's not a mistake -- Bride of Frankenstein is not 4K. It's the only one in this bundle that's not.

Apparently, only iTunes does not have it in 4K. Vudu has it in 4K.

Can confirm this gets you 500 x 8 (4000 total) points for Universal All-Access Rewards. At the usual redemption price of 1000 per movie, this is basically 4 free movies in addition to the already great deal of $2.50 per movie in the bundle itself. Really great deal.

Not only is the the "universal list" - it's a short add to be the best list of pre-1960 horror that isn't obscure art films.

Off the top of my head, I can only think of Horror of Dracula, which comes much later at 1958

I'll just piggyback this hereā€¦ they also have the Hitchcock collection for $24.99 with 14 films. The ones I looked at were all MA and 4k and from Universal so rewards should also apply. It's been $19.99 before but probably won't drop in time to watch The Birds or Psycho for Halloween.

You're right, but this bundle specifically includes the HD version of Bride of Frankenstein, even in the Vudu version of it: https://www.vudu.com/content/movi...e-/1003367

As I understand it, the move here is to purchase the bundle via iTunes, that way if iTunes ever does upgrade Bride of Frankenstein to 4K (which seems like a possibility, as a 4K version exists on Vudu), then that upgrade gets applied automatically to your item in iTunes, which then passes the upgrade to Vudu via MA.

I believe most (if not all) of these movies are available to watch on Peacock. I am a subscriber to their service and was looking at these last night. Just an option if you are in a similar boat as me. Great deal though if you want to purchase them.

Yup.. $20 for 8 movies here plus 4 movies later, your choice from a select list. That works out to $20 for 12 movies or $1.66 each.

Or if you value those Universal Rewards movies at $5 each, then these are practically free!

I've enjoyed some old movies lately, but not sure I can get into these... or would find the time to watch them.
