I have two of these pole saws. I have found them to be excellent. Great for small to medium branches up to 4-5 inches. The saw does run through bar chain oil. The 8 foot extension length is plenty considering all the weight is on the saw end of the pole. Anything longer would be very difficult to manage. Can't beat this for $52.

I have one of these and have used it extensively. It does use the chain oil as mentioned. Other than that it has served me well.

I had the exact same experience. Managed to trim two trees before it started slipping. Tried tightening it several times but it kept slipping.

Do we know if that hedge trimmer tool works with the blower that was on sd a few weeks back? Both show 24v, however the blower mentions 2.0 ah battery.

Another vote for the pole saws. I have two, corded and battery.
Both work great. I mainly have trimmed trees but I took down a 20 -30feet pine once That pushed it to the limit. Took longer than a real chain saw. Did it in sections and someone else pulled the tree away from my cuts.

Just tested it again. The saw is priced at $69, the coupon will take off 25%, reducing the price to $51.75 pre-tax w/ free shipping. The coupon should be reducing the price by $17.25, if it is not, please let me know!
