$704.52 with the base webcam. Man this is hard to turn down.
Well I pulled the trigger. I've been shopping for a laptop for years seemingly and this finally got me. Peace

Now I just need a 1TB or 2TB NVMe, or I'll pull one out of one of my PC's.

This seems like a really good deal. I had planned to wait for the weeks running up to black friday but damn. Does anyone know how the trackpad/keyboard perform?

1920 x 1200 is 16 x 10
2560 x 1600 is 16 x 10

It is mentioned under tech specs - For all display options, aspect ratio = 16:10.

No 240hz either. Or 3080. Why is anyone even considering this?

Didn't really need it, but pulled the trigger because I had the AMEX expiring on 11/14. I upgraded to the 512GB SSD since I didn't have an extra M.2 2242 (wish it had 2280). Total came out to $829 (with CA tax) - $61 cashback - $100 AMEX - $21 Lenovo rewards = $647

I believe all Ryzen 7 6800U CPU chips come with the integrated Radeon 680M graphics. Someone correct me if I'm wrong!
Yes. And it is a beast given the TDP. Intel Xe or Arc looks very uncompetitive.

I really wish I had an AMEX card right about now. Which AMEX card had the $100 deal for you?

Has anyone dealt with returns from Lenovo? I am a bit worried about getting the laptop without having a chance to test it out. I was reading on Lenovo's site that starting on October 17th, they will allow returns up to the beginning of January 2023 without any return shipping or restock fees.

IdeaPad is Lenovo's consumer brand. Thinkbook is their 'fusion' business with 'consumer touches' brand. Years ago it used to be called 'prosumer' category.
The AMD Apu is the overall better package because of the 680m graphics (which is between or exceeds the Nvidia mx450/550 in power). The AMD also has better power management with better battery life.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the 2242 ssd in this model used with an extension bracket on a 2280 slot?
