Did you have a problem with transducer interference? I saw some posts with complaints about transducer not working correctly

A quick search suggests it's a good price but not really crazy since others sources are at $680. 12" is a plus.

1200x800. Not bad. But not good also. Decent for a $600 charter but no potentiom for the livescope. Good to have as a second screen I guess. Lol.

Wild question, does anyone know why these are used in trophy trucks as navigation? Yes, fish finders.

I don't know about trophy trucks, but some folks use these for offroad/ice fishing vehicles for navigation. You don't need to hook up the transducer and the GPS map is pretty good. Also capable of running custom mapping/aerial maps. My guess on the trophy trucks is just for the bigger navigation screen. If you are off-road, you are not going to need the turn by turn directions anyway.

$599 is a killer price on these. I would jump if I hadn't bought last year at the $899 price point.

I have an old Raymarine C80. Will this completely replace that unit, for GPS, Radar, Sonar, etc? I will need to install the new transducer?

Do you have any suggestions for ones you would prefer to use?

It can replace it, but there's little chance anything you have existing will work with the new unit. I'd expect to replace at minimum the Transducer and Radar. It should have charts enough to replace the GPS/sonar that you currently have. This transducer might not be the best fit for your boat and usage too, depending on where and how you use your boat, However it is probably the most expensive model they make so you could probably sell this new transducer and get another and come out money ahead if needed.

It would likely be a huge update for you. And I do believe has the ability to have Radar installed, you'd have to double check that.

I bought a Elite 9 Fs for $999 for my boat over this one (which last sale price was $830ish iirc), because it will do the active live, ( and additional $1250+ in cost) Though apples to apples I think this was replaced by a HDS live model, and at 12 inches they are still over 2k iirc.

For me bang for the buck the Elite 9 FS, was the best choice, although I do plan on moving that unit up front for my troller motor area, and getting something on the Dash in the 12 inch range in the future.

truth be told, it's a $300+ transducer and a 12 inch unit, for $600, I wouldn't be unhappy with unit, and it not having active live wouldnt be a huge issue, since you could buy a unit later on with active live and still network the 3 and 1 transducer to both units, just not the active live to this one, 12 inches is a lot of room for everything else. if I hadn't spent all my money already I'd buy this as a second unit, no regrets.

basically a 12 inch FishFinder for $300, stupid good deal imho, I could buy this and sell the ducer for a quick $250 and pay like $350 for this head unit. I might find a way....
