And to answer the question about the HP comparison...

1. It's an HP
2. It doesn't have a GPU
3. The MSI is infinitely superior

Enough said.

Edit: Now that it's been erased, OP was asking about an HP w/o a GPU and very similar specs for $50 cheaper.

Edit2: Price of the HP just dropped to $799, so now this post is irrelevant. Apple vs Orange, GPU vs no GPU.

Most indications are if you can wait, which is usually the way it is on PC deals, but the last two years were an outlier (where prices increased). Pretty much all indicators are pointing towards an oversupply of PC components, resulting in what most believe will eventually be pretty large discounts within the next six months.
