Can we assume this is an MSI branded GPU? I would be interested in this if I knew it didn't sound like a vacuum cleaner due to fan noise.

There have been a few with a 3060 ti in the $1200-1300 range. AMD doesn't seem popular in pre-built machines from the brand names.

All the i7s with 3060s seem odd to me since the processor is overlook for that card. I guess these are more targeted at productivity users who are wnt the ability to game.

besides more ram, how is this better than the lenovo 5i that's selling for ~900 at bb -> https://www.bestbuy.com/site/leno...Id=6521129

for my usage, more cpu is better, gpu is a nice plus for when i do some gaming

I bought the Lenovo i5-12400 version from Costco but am eyeing this MSI deal.

The important difference for me would be that the MSI uses a more standard case so it is probably more upgradable. I wanted to upgrade the RAM on the Lenovo but can't really reach them because of some metal plates.

Also this has slightly more storage than the Lenovo. I've been happy with my Lenovo so far but want to upgrade RAM/CPU for productivity things.

Besides the standard case I would also mention that MSI motherboard allows for easier upgrading and possible overclocking and control of your fan/ power settings. The Lenovo will have a junk proprietary mobo.
