I bought this ibuypower at Costco $1350 + shipping + tax. Tempting to return it to get the MSI, I know the ibuypower's GPU is Ti but MSI's RAM & SSD is better. Please kindly advise which one is better in long term.
I would say it's a bit of a toss up. This is technically a better deal by cost but just keep in mind RAM and SSD are trivial to swap out or add more if you have room. GPU market is still a bit of a mess. That said, I think 1TB ssd is pretty great unless you only like to play 1 or 2 games at a time. Maybe not everyone is a sociopath like myself and has half their steam library installed "just in case."
i really need an upgrade. is there going to be more deals at costco for black friday (historical trends)?
last few years of black friday have been pretty underwhelming, but the consumer was strong then and inventory is low. now conditions are flipped, i expect good deals this year.
here is PC that I was trying to build using pcpartpicker, some parts probably better quality than this MSI costco build: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/gom...iew=PFTQdC
and my build is more expensive

the only thing I would be skeptical about would be Windows 11 as I have heard some not so great issue still, windows 10 is finally getting pretty good so I don't feel the need to switch soon and continue to let Microsoft work on bugs before switching.
RTX 3060 opinion: Ran one for 9 months very happily on a 2K 144Hz monitor playing mostly FPS old and new during the GPU shortage with plus 100FPS. If you have a 1080 or 2160 res monitor you would be hard pressed to be disappointed with it assuming you aren't trying to completely max every single graphic setting on every game and quite honestly who does that. I tweak my settings based on best playability, user experience, visibility, and of course FPS. It's maligned by the elitest and overly ytuber influenced with zero experience with it. For those that are like this system should be $500 because of the crypto crash good luck to you my friend. Currently running a 3060ti and have noticed zero differences in games I play.
Power supplies: I run a 550 Bronze with zero issues and that's with 200W GPU and 125-190W CPU.
650W, 80 plus gold Power Supply. I did buy one in store yesterday and will see if I can't pickup one on BF then exchange in store or ask for price adjustment.
