What an uninformed remark. I have owned one of these for several years, and it blows away the BGE that I paid much more for and had to buy multiple accessories for. Kamado smokers have gotten outrageously expensive in the past few years, so this is a true SD.

I price matched with a local bbq store that could hold the kamado until my outdoor kitchen is ready. Great deal! Curious if any accessories are worth it...

It was ymmv. However it was on sale online for $950 with the cover. And sometime early summer with a $300 shop card bringing the total close to $800. I've been ready to jump on this forever but have been waiting to find the ~$500 deal.

I know you're trying to make a snarky comment but that $2k deal a few days ago was for a big Joe, not a Joe classic. Nice try though.

This is a great price for classic II. Last November walmart did ~$425 on the Classic I which I pulled the trigger on. The classic II has some better features but I'm happy with the I. Will be interesting to see the Black Friday (aka all of November) pricing will be.

Honestly, no. Just get a regular pizza stone if you want to make pizzas but the accessories are overrated.

Spatchcock chicken taste just as good if you know how to control the temperature.

They have the different grates and soapstone... not worth it, IMO. I don't bother using it because it doesn't make a whole lot of difference.
