Not fuel. But still a good deal with the battery. TU. I have used this one. I own the Ryobi version. They are close to the same quality wise

As a homeowner, is it worth getting this one over the Fuel version?

Why do they list the retail value on the website as 229?

Nah, I'm a contractor and use this thing like crazy. I got it for this deal like 2-3 years ago and it's going strong. Everything else I own is fuel, but as a homeowner, this will do the job perfectly fine. Also, the blades on Amazon are much cheaper!

they aren't close in quality imo.

the vibration alone is a staggering difference.

As a recent M12 fuel multi tool purchased, I probably should hold my trigger? Any inputs?

Nah. I believe the non fuel version requires an Allen key to change blades but for homeowners, this fits the bill.

Are you already in the platform? DeWalt 's XR brushless can be had for $100 hacked during the holidays

Yes, I have a wide assortment of M18 tools so I'm stuck with the brand/lineup.

I bought this exact one a few months ago and has been MORE than sufficient for homeowner / DIY weekend warrior stuff.

Negative. This has the tool-free blade changes with just the flip of the lever.

It's tool free. I usually use the blades to screw and unscrew
