Clamping voltage: 125V, 15A, 1875W
It is ETL listed according to UL Standard/ UL1449.

We have this discussion every thread, but I can never remember what "good numbers" are. Are these good? UL listed is required for me, but I can't remember good clamping voltage numbers.

This deal was posted by SD staff, as were these deals: 1, 2, 3

All using coupon codes, all pushing a brand that doesn't exist outside of Amazon.

Are these deals SD staffers found, or were these deals incentivized in some way? If this is a collaboration between SD and the One Beat brand I'd really appreciate these deals being listed as "Promoted" instead of looking like a deal someone just stumbled upon and are sharing with the community.

It would be better to Wait for an APC or a CyberPower branded one around BF.

They're sponsored deals, yes. They have a little tiny warning at the top of every page.

Ultimately, this site needs money to function. This is just one of the ways they raise money. You should be glad the third party Amazon posts are so easy to spot - there are far sneakier things going on behind the scenes. If you treat everything on this site as an advertisement (they are) and scrutinize each post you're interested in, you can sniff out the good deals from the bad easily.

There is a big difference between sponsored deals and the disclaimer you're referring to. That disclaimer means "we make money when we refer you to a site, and you make a purchase there". A sponsored deal means a merchant paid or otherwise incentivized SD directly to list an item. SD will make money on any deal where they refer you to a website because they have referral arrangements with those sites (that's why the URL looks all long and complicated when you click a link from SD instead of going to the site directly). I'm asking for transparency about whether this deal was an arrangement between the manufacturer, One Beat, and SD staff directly. I know that SD makes money when they refer people to a site to make a purchase. I want to know if this One Beat Surge Protector post itself came about because SD was directly incentivized to post this specific item.

Clamping voltage cannot be 125V! The clamping voltage would normally be higher (330V, for example).
125V is the operating voltage, not the clamping voltage!
If that's what it states as the clamping voltage, pass on this!
Insofar as the certification is concerned, ETL is fine....but based upon the incorrect clamping voltage spec, I'd recommend a different product (APC for example).

You would only need one (as it has USB ports for charging purposes)....but based upon the specs posted here (by another contributor), I'd recommend passing on this one.

Not a good deal if the specs provided are inaccurate and/or untrustworthy. Then you're stuck with a glorified extension cord that can potentially be unsafe to use (if it hasn't actually been tested to meet neccessary safety criteria).
