Wait what am I missing? $150 Christmas lights?
These are fully controllable RGB lights. Preprogrammed effects in app and can make your own as well. These are also usable with other controllers in the lighting industry to add to shows and control with xLights. See this video: https://youtu.be/tNRMY2xzfrk

The nice thing about Twinkly is they are 5mm LED size. We normally buy 12mm WS2811 pixels to control and they are about $25-$35 per 100 (so $150-$200 for 600). You can do smaller props or more precise spacing with the smaller 5mm pixels.

only $25 more for the free music device makes your deal not really that hot.
$25 more doesn't equal free though.

It says that there are 600 lights. One every 3.5 inches. So ABOUT 2100 inches...175 feet.

I got the 100 thru Best Buy for $43 bucks, so 600 is a sweet deal. I like the color on these, they do yellow really well, just put up some Govee and yellow ain't yellow it's washed out warm white. If I had a home to put these on and was looking this would be a great deal

Purchased these lights a couple years ago. So awesome! I wouldn't get less that 600 lights though. On my 7' narrow tree it's perfect. You need the 600 to make the animations clear. I purchased for $400 so you should grab these!!

Very cool -- what specific part of the scene features these lights (if any)?

That's your xlight display? Killer.

Any thoughts on +W vs not? I heard it's worth the extra $$.

Also wondering why people are down on the music add-on thingy, it seems like a cool feature.

Yeah I'm curious too. I'd love to do something like this and my scrooge neighbors can enjoy it too. How do I set these up? Looking for an excuse to buy.

I have a few outdoor twinkly lights that came with the music dongle. It's dumb. I made $25 minus fees on eBay for them. If you really want the music part, just do someone else a favor and buy it off them.
A quick search on ebay yields prices over $30 for me.

I usually get an 8 or 9 foot tree and load it up pretty good with lights. Think I should go with 2 sets or would that be overkill? I don't light the back of the tree since it faces a rear window, maybe 1 set would be good if I'm not concerned 25% of the 🎄...?
