Nice price, those living in certain area's in CA and serviced by PGE might qualify for a $300 rebate from PGE for a generator.

Good price if you are in urgent need for one. Note that this is an open frame non-inverter conventional generator that it will be very noisy and produce dirty power.

look up a list of house appliances and what wattage they need…then you buy based on what you plan to run after a power outage. There are charts out there.

Yes but way too much for that, it will consume lot of gas. Look for 2 KW inverter (WEN is a good choice)
