Please be careful about when it says Rent Payments. Only specific rental companies are covered in it.Triple Check with your rental company if they accept it.
Gotta say I got this card in November 2022. Paid ach rent with it. The card got hacked unauthorized Uber charges in December. Reissued. Hacked again Feb. left it un activated since then but ACH is still on for rent. No hacks since then but only paying ach rent at this point. I do not trust Wells Fargo or BILT for this card.
Are you getting your points even when you are not using it 5 times a month?
Hey all – quick update from Bilt. We have been made aware of a global fraud ring that has been launching what are called BIN attacks. In short, they use compromised merchants to randomly test millions of potential card numbers to see which ones work, focusing in on one card range at a time.
So a bunch of people "got hacked" by this months ago, because it was a bulk attack over a period of time.
But as with all credit cards there's 0 liability so never really sure why people get so concerned about it... it's a PITA for like 10 minutes to report it and get a new card sent.... happens to me a few times a year since I've got dozens of cards open, and I've never seen it as a reason to stop using a card or anything.
Not true at all.
You get a routing number and an account number and can either mail a check to your rental company, or provide the rounting/account number like a check to your online bill pay system.
I got a bilt card in April, so feel free to ask me any questions, def worth it for all the free points, and I got a bunch of referrals, so got a bonus 50k points too.
I just won't carry a balance on it.
Can you highlight the world benefits? Does it offer free cell phone protection like my speedway world Mastercard does?
I got this a few weeks ago. My landlord only says that their address is available for electronic payment and that's how I paid through Chase Bill Pay. It doesn't seem like Bilt really understands this and is sending paper checks.
Used for 3 months now. Check takes forever to arrive. So make sure to schedule it waaaay up front. Otherwise just been racking up points, haven't used any.
I set my check to be sent on 20th of month for deadline of the 5th. Is that enough time?
Mastercard's thief protection sucks. I got my package stolen I filed a police report and have a video of the thief but they won't honor the claim stating that it was due to misdelivery or lack of care. Ever since then, I won't ever use Mastercard again.
Cash back on rent, I've been waiting for someone like this. It worked with my apartment's payment portal just fine so no complaints just yet. Rent is my biggest expense so even just 1% back in the form of points matters to me.

Late stage capitalism at it's finest.

Anyway so far so good.
Had anyone used this CC to pay for T-Mobile via routing and account number in order to keep the auto pay discount?
Yes it would
