I've been using mine to pay my mortgage for almost a year now and I do get the points. I just make sure I use the card 5 + times a month to get all the points. I pay with rocket mortgage

I am newbie and could you explain it a bit more:
- my landloard only accepts checks - they will have to mail it - how do I ensure that they mail it on time?
- Some people say only those listed landlords are qualified - how others are successful getting points?
- Is the rent/mortgage is counted as one of the 5 transactions
- what can be done to ensure 5 transactions?
- how do u make payments to the Bilt? Auto-payments work?
Can u get customer service by going into a WF branch?
How many perks are we looking at here, say my rent is $4000 a month?
Then you'd get 4000 points a month, plus whatever else spend you put on the card (which other than ON rent day is usually not worth doing in any significant amount- many just do several small amazon reloads to hit the 5 per month including rent requirement for transactions- though if you don't have a CSR then using it for Lyft ain't bad at 5x points plus $5 credit after 3 rides in a month).
Which is at least 4005 fee-free points a month more than you earn NOW, so that's the main perk.

In the app, it's recommended you to give at least 7 business days to allow the check to be delivered on time. For example, you can setup autopayment to have rent check to be mailed every 20th of the month.
Inside the BILT app, it will provide you the 'partial' tracking because it will track the check for you once it reaches to the local USPS sorting facility only.
Once the rent check is cashed, it will show on BILT app as well as you will receive the confirmation in email.

My apartment is not part of the listed landlords and I have earned points with my rent payment.
- Is the rent/mortgage is counted as one of the 5 transactions
No.
- what can be done to ensure 5 transactions?
Make usual credit card purchases: e.g. fast food, drinks, grocery, gas, and etc.
- how do u make payments to the Bilt? Auto-payments work?
This is my first bill. I pay via bank at the moment. I haven't setup autopay or paperless yet. There is an option inside BILT app to setup autopay as well.
Can u get customer service by going into a WF branch?
For rent related question, you will need to contact CS via BILT app. WF won't assist with any rent payment questions. I have submitted 2 rent questions so far and got responses the next day via email.
Gotta say I got this card in November 2022. Paid ach rent with it. The card got hacked unauthorized Uber charges in December. Reissued. Hacked again Feb. left it un activated since then but ACH is still on for rent. No hacks since then but only paying ach rent at this point. I do not trust Wells Fargo or BILT for this card.

Bilt recently changed terms of service specifically to narrow use to JUST rent (and fees directly associated with paying rent)
