I bought these about 3 months ago. Trust me, these are dollar store scissors. They're lightweight and very poor quality. Two came apart within a couple of weeks. The two larger scissors won't cut waxed string.
Since you quoted me, I guess you can't comprehend. I said they are dollar store quality. I bought them at Home Depot and they were $5, I'm pretty sure. They came apart where they connect, 2 pairs. The smaller ones are the ones that shelled out. Still, the 2 larger pairs won't cut through waxed string although they do cut paper if it's not heavy duty. They're junk but you feel free to go ahead and buy them. Tell you what, here's an idea. Buy 40 packages. That'll show me! I could actually care less what you spend your money on. And when they break, don't come whining to me. So much for trying to be helpful.

463 , 4 or 5 star reviews on HD site, so worth a shot
Well if you are talking about dollar tree.. literally the only supposed "$1" now "$1.25" store still running in the USA.. it'd still be what.. let's do the math for those ivy league grads here.. $6.25 before tax.
Hmmm.. although I'm thinking these are higher quality then those at a dollar tree, i'm still curious how you literally destroyed multiple pairs... what did you do with them? Can you elaborate?
"The two larger scissors won't cut waxed string."
I'm literally buying them just to prove this person wrong. Thanks.
