My concern is getting the 11'' pro that I may get buyer remorse because it the same size as the Air or base model iPad.
Maybe I'll be happy with $600? Idk ☹️
For an 11 inch tablet, I don't think most of us would really care about the ultrawide back camera as much. Having a good camera is great, but the air's camera more than meets it's needs. Also the front cameras are the same. I can't imagine pulling this out of a bag to take pictures with the rear camera, though I've seen others do it.
Same with speakers. The speakers on the air are good enough, and if I want better, I'd use headphones or BT audio.
So really it comes down to the screen. It's nice to have better speakers and camera too, but those would weigh in pretty low in the decision. Most of those improvements are not the sort of things you'll feel every day. ProMotion is the biggest benefit.
The Pro is $600 if you can catch it. The big difference for me is the storage size. The base Air only get 64GB vs the 128GB on the Pro base, if it was not for this I would just get the Air for the kids because I am not sure if they'd notice the reset of the difference.
