So this is WILD. I called Best Buy and was told they aren't price matching. Then I called Best Buy again, gave the sku, told them it was the iPad Pro 2021 128GB and staples had it for $599.. she tells me "The SKU you gave me is $599" I refreshed on the Best Buy site, still shows $699 so she helped me to process the purchase at $599

How weird.

That's possible but who knows. BF is weeks away and we haven't seen Target nor BBY dropping the price to $599.99 which is what everyone here in SD is waiting for. They don't want to miss out again after Costco and Walmart had their turns and they sold out all of it.

Those who stay old school by holding out for less than $599.99 until the day after thanksgivings AND NOT buying what they really want is asking for regrets esp when they could have just bought and return it later when needed. That's called strategic gratification.

But just odd that internally they saw $599 in their system and was able to give me that price.

I just tried calling and the agent immediately said they do not price match any competitors during November due to Black Friday sales and fluctuating prices. Hopefully BB has plans to lower the price again soon...

for folks looking to get in at this price, just call 1-888-Bestbuy and give them the SKU 4265400. No need for price match spiel...the call-in ordering system does indeed have the $599 price. Just placed an order.
