I'm seeing 3X vs 30X. I've never seen that many points on TVs!

I tried and tried to get the EPP discount to work for this TV when it was supposed to be $2,249, but I gave up even thought Samsung support said that I should qualify. I wound up going submitting an offer through a well known offer site (SD blocks the name) for $2,499 with no tax and free shipping that was accepted. It's coming from a reliable Samsung reseller that I've purchased items from in the past and should be here next week.

I'm wondering this also. I've heard horror stories of buying from/dealing with Samsung direct. I don't know if it's worth waiting for another retailer to drop to this price.
I ordered a 85" Q90A and that came damaged. The return and refund process was a nightmare took two montha for a refund. Read online that most of the TV bought from samsung end up damaged as the shipping is handled by a third party service which is no good at all.

This or 83' LG C1 OLED for $2,499 ? Which is better
The C1 is better. OLED is just superior to QLED, plain and simple. QLED has a higher peak brightness, but the perfect blacks and contrast of OLED give it unmatched detail. LG OLEDs are the pretty much the best TVs out there. Though there is the new Samsung QD OLED which technically ranks higher, because it's a combo of QLED and OLED, but it still doesn't have Dolby Vision, which makes it obsolete in my eyes. No Samsung TV has Dolby Vision, which is significantly better than the HDR10+ Samsung uses.

I received one that I ended up returning because another deal for the same tv came up for a lower price. Neither arrived damaged and the return process was painless for me. They even had a shipping company pick the TV up. Ymmv though as far as hassle goes, I guess.

Took me 3 orders to get an 85" qn90a that wasn't damaged. No idea if it's regional.

I had an 85" Q90A come damaged. It was a horror show. Samsung's customer service is second only to Dell in being an absolute nightmare.

In order to have Dolby vision a company has to pay for it and Samsung is too cheap... So LG all the way
