"For all electronics and entertainment items (excluding Apple® products) purchased between Oct. 6-Dec. 25, the 30-day refund period will start on Dec. 26 and must be returned by Jan. 24. "
You can buy element TV's just about anywhere. The reason why they're generally cheaper is they're built in the USA, just like Westinghouse. Sure all the components come from elsewhere but Westinghouse manufactures in Round Rock Texas and Element TV's are manufactured in Fairfield South Carolina, thus making them cheaper than ordering a shipping container full of completed TV's, they make the mold/housing and just order the components.
Still both on the lower end but at least you know what you're getting.
You had to pay for Walmart+ in order to access a similar deal - trial membership wouldn't work. Once you were signed up and paid up, they were OOS. When the TV went back to the normal price, it was magically available everywhere. Getting refunded for your W+ membership required a chat.
I got lucky. Went to store during sale time, grabbed one off shelf that was in stock and had CS price adjust to what it showed on my phone! Could have had 3! Bogus sale tactics

I work for Walmart and get Walmart+ for free.. was on refreshing page before 12 and it went from $298 to OOS as soon as 12pm hit. It's hard to justify this not being a ploy to get you to their site to order something else

Element is Target's version of Walmart's ONN I believe. Suspect they also use grade B panels that don't meet the standards of other manufacturers, that's how they get the cost so low. For non-critical viewing/applications these would be fine. Just temper your expectations and it's hard to get disappointed, expect the worst and when you get something better than the worst you will be happy

I have this same TV that I bought for $150 used from OfferUp. It's not terrible considering the price. Works well 99% of the time. The sound quality sucks, of course… and every so often I'd get a black screen of death and I'd have to unplug the TV to restart it. Works well for how I use it.

I bought 40" element tv from Target for ~$150 in a similar deal several years ago. Has been working great. Still have it. The sound especially is great for a TV, though I don't use the tv speaker much.
This is connected through Sony STR-DH550 receiver and works through onn google tv apps. Don't know whether the receiver pre-processes the video.
If this deal is anything like the TV I have, it's a good buy
If this is the same model as the $300 "frameless" 65inch version sale that happened a year ago then this is a great deal. The 65inch version I got last year has been incredible for the price. Absolutely no issues and works way above expectations. Of course will. Or compare to other tvs with local dimming and such but those would be 5x the price.

I got in on that deal. I thought the TV was fantastic for what I paid. However maybe 6 months in mine developed a solid line of red pixels. I ended up getting refunded by element as they said there were no replacements available. I then sold the TV on offer up.
